UK Conformity Assessment after Brexit

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that will be used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland).

It covers most goods that previously required CE marking, and although they are quite similar in legislation, CE and UKCA marks have different conformity requirements.

UKCA marking was introduced on January 1, 2021, but CE marking will be recognized until December 31, 2022 (or June 30, 2023 for Medical devices). After that transition period, only UKCA mark will be accepted. Therefore, manufacturers should start preparing their products to meet the UKCA mark requirements. Do you know how to do it and what important topics should you consider?

We invite you to a free webinar on October 26th, from 10 am to 11 am (CEST), where our expert Jose Antonio Ortiz, Regulatory Compliance Engineer at DEKRA in Spain, will explain the main aspects regarding the UKCA mark.

KEY TOPICS

- UK Conformity Assessment.

- Deviations between EU and UK.
